Taylor brought an outstanding program to Tucson on Father's Day evening. A mike, a stool, and maybe a couple of musicians backing with drums or guitar might have been expected in earlier days. His entourage of 10 sterling musicians, piano, bass, electric guitar, trumpet, sax, vocalists, and rhythm section of two not only brought color to Earthquake's music but also seemed to invigorate his time on stage and elevate the audience to a standing position. The production included a stunning light show production aside from music. The staging in the local arena was enhanced with television monitors and a crew that followed the production with cameras almost as if the event was being broadcast live.
